Happy New Year!

I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year! I really hope that this will be a brighter and happier year for us all. Tonight there is a blue moon (2nd full moon this month) and I hope it is a good omen of things to come.

I found this lovely poem on Curt’s World blog and he has given me permission to share it with you all. So here’s my wish for you in the coming year, and beyond:

At last, my very own copy of PW’s cookbook! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear Ronna!!!! I can’t say that I will actually prepare any of these delicious recipes, but you just never know. The recipes are not complicated, from what I have seen so far, and the photos are awesome. I love recipes with photos and this book has tons of them.
What a perfect way to start the New Year off right! Even if it is still 2 days away. Excuse me, but I have to go hug my cookbook now. Check out The Pioneer Woman's blog -----> HERE.

Is it Spring yet???

No, not yet? Are you sure? Fine, let me go put on another pair of socks, my feet are cold. There, that’s better.

If I still have any readers left (tap, tap….is this thing on?) here are some of the beautiful cards I received this Christmas. I don’t think I have photos of all of them so if you don’t see yours here please don’t be upset – I loved them all and they brightened my day every time one showed up in my mailbox! This has been a dismal year in more ways than one, but we have put one of the most distressing events behind us and are doing our level best to forget about it. If DH can find a job this year we will be happy campers. Well, we are already happy – and have lots to be grateful for but a job would do wonders!
