A Few More Cards
I was on a card making roll the other day, making cards for Operation Write Home. I saw this card on Becky’s blog and (yes, I have no original ideas) decided it would make pretty, quick cards. And it did, I think. See what you think.
This is Becky’s card:
Isn’t it gorgeous?? She made the panel with scraps. So clever!
Here are my interpretations of it:
This one was made with some scraps, the same way she made hers and I like it. It was a little difficult to get them lined up perfectly (OCD, me??), so the rest of them are made with patterned paper.
I think this paper is Basic Grey but I don’t know which paper pad it came from, sorry. This was the last sheet I had. The sentiment is from a new Hero Arts clear set.
I L-O-V-E this paper. It goes with almost any color and just looking at it makes me smile. Sentiment is PaperTrey. They are killin’ me with their new releases this month! New dies, stamps, inks …..*sigh*.
Dunno which paper this is, either, but the punch and the butterfly are Martha Stewart. Sentiment is Hero Arts.
Paper from Stamper’s Alley, Spellbinders butterfly (thank you, Angel), PaperTrey sentiment.
Unknown paper, Fiskars border punch, Hero Arts sentiment. Is this crooked or is it me? No, don’t tell me. I can’t do it over now. Must be my eyes.
Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave me a comment (hint, hint) :-D.

Silhouette Grass
I love this new stamp from Hero Arts! I saw a similar card on the Hero Arts Flickr Group and just had to copy it :-)
The stamp is stamped with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. The butterfly is a PaperTrey stamp, colored with Copic markers and cut out with the PaperTrey butterfly die. Simple design, quick enough to make a whole bunch at one time, but pretty enough to send to anyone. I made a bunch of these and most of them are going to Operation Write Home but I thought I’d keep a few on hand.
The green one really does match much better IRL but the camera doesn’t show it well.
